I havent exactly decided on one specific topic to write about but I hope my rants and raves will be appreciated by those who read.
I was laid off one month before my beautiful daughter was born in July of 2009. I had already started my Masters degree in Social Work so I continued on that path and have stayed home with my little girl since then. There were times that I thought I was going crazy and times that I absolutely would not give up for the life of me. During this time I have learned to be more frugal, appreciate nature more so than before, attempt to be more “green” and natural with products that I buy, and attempt to be vegan. I currently have two more semesters of my degree to finish at this time and I am still unemployed, although, I am working outside of the house 20 hours a week for my internship so my daughter must go to daycare. I love my daycare provider but I feel immense guilt in sending my daughter to be cared for by someone else when I am technically not working…not to mention the financial strain. So, hopefully this gives a quick peek at my life as it is now and maybe spark some interest.
